Breakfast Recipe

Today, I tried something new. I broke routine from my usual quinoa, eggs, & turkey bacon breakfast (which is super delicious, by the way), and I tried steel-cut oats. My mother-in-law is the one who introduced me to these, and I am so happy she did! They are super yummy. Here’s my super easy steel oat recipe:

> 1/4 cup dry steel oats
> 1/2 cup water
> about 1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
> about 1 tsp cinnamon
> a drizzle of organic agave nectar

Microwave the dry steel oats and water for about 2 1/2 minutes.
Stir & let sit for about a minute to let the oats soak up a bit more water.
Add the blueberries, cinnamon, & agave… stir & enjoy!

I had this with a homemade cup of iced coffee that my husband made for me as well as a cup of Green Machine Naked juice to start my day.
