Caribbean Cruise

My hubby & I got to take our own REAL vacation together this year since our honeymoon 3 years ago! Neither of us had ever been on a cruise, so that’s what we decided to do. We booked last minute in probably what was the craziest time of our lives… camp season! For those that don’t know, my husband is the youth director of Arizona for the Assemblies of God, & one of the biggest events we direct throughout the year are summer youth camps. We went with Carnival because it was cheaper than others & also had the dates we were looking at. Here is our vaca in pictures…
I’m definitely glad we got a room with a deck for our first cruise experience. It’s such a crazy feeling knowing that you are literally surrounded by water so far out that you can’t see anything but blue water & sky. So breathtaking!! The next few pics below are from our first stop… J A M A I C A ! ! We got an awesome deal for a day pass at a Sandals resort. Definitely the coolest place I’ve ever been in my life!
You can’t go to Jamaica without getting coffee now, can you?

The three pics below were in the Grand Cayman. We decided to save our money & just walk around at our port instead of doing an excursion. It was probably a good idea though since it rained most of the time there. This place seriously had the bluest water I have ever seen.
I had to show this photo of what we called our own “Sharknado!” Haha there were about 5 of those funnels forming & 3 of them were touching the water. So crazy!

Thanks for viewing!

HEY! thanks for your review on what to bring. I’m going on a cruise on NCL in December. I’m so nervous as to what to pack. And the extra fees tacked on at the end. Any pointers on what NOT to pack?

    1. How many days will you be gone & where is the cruise going? Like the tropics where it’s warm or a winter cruise?
